MARINE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AUTHORITY
REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR THE YEAR 2021
Applications are invited by the Marine Environment Protection Authority for the registration of suppliers for the supply of following goods and services for the year 2021.
We wish to inform you to follow the following steps in making payments and for the registration purposes as movement of persons have been limited owing to the Covid-19 pandemic situation that prevails in the country.
- Application form may be downloaded from the www.mepa.gov.Ik website.
- A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/= (One Thousand) for every item (Goods or Services) should be paid and that amount should be credited to Account No. 194109 maintained with the. Borella Supra Grade Branch in favour of Marine Environment Protection Authority and the Customer's copy of the receipt obtained upon crediting the registration fee should be defi nitely attached to the application.
- P lease note that no application form will be issued by the Head Offi ce of the Marine Environment Protection Authority and money (cash) or Cheque or Money Orders will not be accepted.
Application forms obtained under 01 above may be sent by registered post or by courier service along with the customers copy of the receipt obtained upon payment of the fee as mentioned under 02 above addressed to "Marine Environment Protection Authority, No. 177, Nawala Road, Narahenpita, Colombo 05".
Generally Quotations will be called from registered suppliers of the Marine Environment Protection Authority for the purchase of goods and services. But the Marine Environment Protection Authority reserves the right to obtain goods and services from other suppliers too whenever necessary. Further, suppliers who fail to submit quotations when requested, who fail to supply goods and services on time and in accordance with the accepted samples will be removed from the list of Registered Suppliers without prior intimation.
The application downloaded should be duly perfected and sent to the address given below to receive before 14.00 hours on 24.12.2020 along with the customer copy of the receipt for the payments and a photocopy of the Business Registration Certifi cate. The top left-hand corner of the envelope containing applications should be marked as "Registration of Suppliers for the year 2021".
• It is mandatory to submit certifi ed copies of all the documents requested and incomplete applications will be rejected.
