The government of Sri Lanka has launched an island-wide beach cleaning program under the theme “A Beautiful Beach, an Attractive Tourist Destination.” This initiative, conducted as part of the Clean Sri Lanka program, was officially inaugurated on February 9, 2025, at Crow Island Beach Park, Mattakkuliya, by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
